The Race to Win Social Commerce

Beauty buyers will buy a new product from an unfamiliar brand with three clicks of their thumb in under ten seconds. So it’s not surprising that eMarketer projects U.S. social shopping to reach $80B by 2025, up 78% from $45B. Ambitious brands have capitalized on social commerce innovation, but less than one third of our benchmarked top 115 brands empower consumers to checkout directly on Instagram and just slightly more do so on TikTok at 42%.
