Flashforward: 2050

The world is always changing and, according to a new report released by the Census Bureau that looks forward to 2050, some of the biggest changes coming will be the population breakdowns of Planet Earth.  And if social media and marketing do anything, they follow where the people are…

Some of the most interesting forecasts for 40 years from now:

- India will take the top spot, upsetting long-standing population champ China.

- The U.S. will add another 115 million people to their total.

- Russia will lose 30 million people.

- Nigeria and Ethiopia will see the biggest movement with their populations skyrocketing from 161 and 91 million to  402 and 278 million respectively.

- The total population of Earth will be 9,400,000,000

9.4 billion people… lets hope Facebook and Twitter plan accordingly by boosting their bandwidth by then.
