And if social media and marketing do anything, they follow where the people are…
Some of the most interesting forecasts for 40 years from now:
- India will take the top spot, upsetting long-standing population champ China.
- The U.S. will add another 115 million people to their total.
- Russia will lose 30 million people.
- Nigeria and Ethiopia will see the biggest movement with their populations skyrocketing from 161 and 91 million to 402 and 278 million respectively.
- The total population of Earth will be 9,400,000,000
9.4 billion people… lets hope Facebook and Twitter plan accordingly by boosting their bandwidth by then.
