And the nominees are…

The nominees for the 84th Academy Awards were announced today with nine entrants in the Best Picture race (losing one slot from last year) with The Descendants, The Help, The Artist and Hugo making the strongest appearances across the various categories.

The Descendants               Moneyball

The Help                                 The Tree of Life

Hugo                                         War Horse

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

Have a few of these covered already but it’s been a busy year so it looks like we have some catching up to do in the screening room.

Guessing this is really a four way race between The Descendants, The Help, Hugo and The Artist.
