Armed with a keen ability to identify and meet the challenges of some of todayʼs savviest marketers, Leslie Hall has led Iced Media to become one of the industryʼs leading digital marketing agencies. Over the past decade, she and partner Reggie Miller have been at the forefront of creating groundbreaking digital platforms and strategic partnerships for such brands as CNN, Diesel, QVC, Ralph Lauren, Kmart, Universal Pictures, LʼOreal, and Swatch.

A graduate of George Washington University, Hall spent the first few years of her career working in sales for several companies including Vibe and Spin Media Ventures. At the time, Hall took over a role previously handled by agency Doubleclick and served as the first in-house digital sales executive for the company. In a short amount of time, she developed a growing revenue stream by creating innovative solutions like the “Beyond the Banner” model which provided traditional advertisers the ability to reach and receive direct responses from fans of the companyʼs sites. She also developed a number of multi-platform campaigns for brands such as Nike, Levis and TDK by utilizing the sitesʼ existing initiatives and selling sponsorship-based partnerships that resulted in greater reach and deeper relationships with key consumers. While other magazine sites were focused on selling traditional banner ads, Hall was a trailblazer, crafting groundbreaking ideas that made Vibe and Spin two of the leading magazine Web sites during that time.

Eventually Hall and Miller left their positions at Vibe and Spin to launch ICED Media in 1999. Online marketing was still in it’s infancy at that time, but ICED carved out a niche by becoming experts in online grassroots marketing, ad buys and positioning. The company later began to create synergies in both advertising and editorial to ensure client visibility, and by 2000, ICED expanded their roster beyond entertainment brands and began to pitch corporate clients. Kraft and agencies Ogilvy & Mather, Wieden & Kennedy and Arnold Worldwide all signed on.

A pioneer at heart, Hall develops all of the company’s processes and brings her understanding of the digital space, consumer behavior and ROI to complement the company’s creative offerings. Her work has been recognized by technology partners and trades alike including Facebook and Mashable. It is this discipline that has helped ICED Media to become one of the leading digital marketing firms today.

When not running ICED Media, Hall can be found at home in NJ with her husband, Jermaine and son, Jordan. She’s a lover of pop culture, vintage couture, travel, and home design and can often be found with her Kindle immersed in memoirs or non-fiction.
